St. Anthony’s plans 3-day celebration

YOUNGSTOWN

A three-day celebration will mark the feast of St. Anthony of Padua at St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave.

On June 11 there will be an alumni Mass at 4 p.m., and a cocktail hour at 5 will precede dinner at 6. Tickets are $35 and available in the rectory from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The deadline for tickets is June 8. Music will be by C.J. the DJ.

On June 12, a Founders’ Memorial Mass is planned for 10:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will follow.

On June 13, an indoor Mass at 5 p.m. will be accompanied by a procession on the church grounds and feature the choir and Lowellville Marching Band.

Featured food will include St. Anthony’s original Brier Hill pizza, pizza fritta, homemade sausage, cavatelli and meatballs, coffee and pop.
