Pedestrian couple killed on Belmont Ave. identified

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released the names of the couple killed while crossing Belmont Avenue on Saturday.

Doreen Rogers, 71, and Keith Rogers, 73, died after they were hit by a van about 5:40 p.m. Saturday on Belmont near Liberty Street.

The driver of the van, Sandra L. Scott, 64, of Vienna, wasn’t injured in the accident.

A trooper with OSHP said the accident is still under investigation. He said at this point he can’t say whether charges will be filed against Scott.
