Mr., Mrs. White celebrate 50th at family dinner

A family dinner on April 24 honored Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. White of Poland for their 50th anniversary.

Mr. White and the former Margaret L. Buchanan were married April 22, 1961, at Mount Prospect Presbyterian Church in Hickory, Pa.

The couple have two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sharon White of Southington, who hosted the event at their home, and James and Daniela White of Hradec Kr °lov , Czech Republic. Two grandchildren also are part of their family.

Mrs. White, a registered nurse, retired in 1997 after working for MapleCrest Nursing Home in Struthers.

Mr. White retired in 2002. He had worked in sales for Winkle Electric in Youngstown.

The Whites are members of Struthers Presbyterian Church.
