50th anniversary of the Calcagnis is celebrated

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Calcagni Sr. of Struthers were honored by their family as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner May 14 at Caffe Capri in Boardman.

Hosting the event were the couple’s children and their spouses: Ray (Lori) Calcagni of Poland, Michael (Laura) Calcagni of Boardman, and MaryBeth (Jeff) Hudock of Wadsworth.

The couple’s six grandchildren are Drew, Ryan and Anthony Calcagni, Briana and Raegan Lytle and Emma Hudock.

The former Ruth Wilson and Mr. Calcagni were married May 13, 1961, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.

Mr. Calcagni worked as a district manager for Ohio Water Service Co./Consumer’s Ohio Water and retired in 1966 after 40 years of service. Mrs. Calcagni is a homemaker.
