UW will host event for kids at Evans Lake

POLAND

The United Way of Youngs-town and the Mahoning Valley will host a “Fish & Fun” event for kids in conjunction with the Maransky Companies Bass Classic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 4 at Evans Lake, off of Calla Road.

There will be fishing from the shore, face painting and other activities. Children will receive prizes, and the first 200 kids will receive a goodie bag with a T-shirt.

Hot dogs, pizza, chips, pop and cotton candy will be provided. The event is free.
