“Community Connection” (7 a.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): Mahoning County Veterans Services offers many benefits to the families of deceased veterans. Susan Skrzynski of MCVS will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss memorial benefits available for free.

Next, Leni Schultz and Jolene Rodenbaugh will discuss the annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk on June 4 at Boardman Park, featuring Maureen Collins of Easy Street Productions.

COLUMBUS

The Ohio Film Office says four independent films will be shooting scenes in Ohio, including the thriller “Seven Below Zero,” starring Val Kilmer, which begins work this summer in Cincinnati. The other films are “Liberal Arts” (Columbus), “Old Fashioned” (Tuscarawas County) and “Over the Wall” (Darke, Mercer and Stark counties).
