Holy Family School hosted its annual Principal’s Academic Honors Banquet at the Parish Center in May.

Students in grades six, seven and eight who earned a 3.7 GPA or higher on a possible 4.0 GPA scale during the 2010-2011 academic year were honored. Students in accelerated math classes are on a 5.0 scale.

Eighth-grade students honored included Michael Angiolelli, Alexis Ohlin, Carly Berlon, Cara Palusak, Katherine Boniface, Olivia Proia, John Brennan, Liborio Ricottilli, Nicole Clark, Gina Stephenson, Emily DeGenova, Marisa Stephenson, Madeline Evan, Francesca Strollo, Micaela Kreuzwieser, Taylor Tofil, Ashley Labatte, Danielle Wainio, Hannah Lavelle, Mackenzie Wardle, Madeleine Leek, Hallie Yerian, Mackenzie Metzinger and Alia Yossef.

Seventh-grade students honored were Mario Abbattista, Jon-Michael Koutsourais, Kirsten Appel, Evan Leek, Brennan Bizon, Olivia Morrison, Nicholas Braydich, Michael Myers, Allison Christopher, Kara Okular, Madeline Graziano, Jenna Perchak, Sophia Harakal, Isabel Stoeber, Matthew Holsinger, Brianna Thompson and Kellie Walker.

Sixth-grade students honored were Patrick Brennan, Jacob Ovask, Olivia Christopher, Christopher Perry, Kirsten Joss, James Raymer, Nathan Keller, Isabella Ricottilli, Robert Kurta, Tessa Snider,Christopher Lewis, Morgan Wardle, Michael Masternick, Alex Wollet and Anthony Zeno.

Brandon Mikolich was guest speaker for the event. Mikolich is a graduate of Holy Family School, Cardinal Mooney High School and Villanova University’s BS/MD program and an interventional cardiologist in Hubbard and Hermitage, Pa.
