Dickson-Skowron wedding plans are announced

Wendy Dickson of Leetonia, Larry Dickson of Columbiana, and Ronald and Denise Skowron of Youngstown are announcing the engagement and wedding plans of their children, Sara Jean Dickson and Jonathan Paul Skowron.

The bride-to-be, of Leetonia, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Capital University. She attends Kent State University, studying for a master’s degree in school psychology.

The prospective groom, of Youngstown, attended Western School of Health & Business. He is employed as a merchandise supervisor for Wal-Mart Corp. in Aurora, Ohio.

The couple have planned their open wedding for 2 p.m. June 25 at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. Invitations are being issued for a reception that evening at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
