Ronald Pugh indicted in McCoy murder

WARREN

A Trumbull County grand jury has indicted Ronald J. Pugh Jr., 26, of East Philadelphia Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of murder in the May 15 shooting death of DeAngelo McCoy, 24, of Third Street Southwest.

If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison with parole eligibility after 18 years. Police say Pugh killed McCoy outside a Hampshire House apartments on Fifth Street Southwest at 4:30 a.m. Pugh and McCoy both have criminal records that included prison terms in Ohio.
