Packard foundation planning another benefit concert
WARREN
Packard Music Hall Foundation raised $300 for the recent Warren Relay of Life and more than $600 for to help the foundation promote future events at the April 2 Local Musicians Rock fundraiser.
Local rock bands Nelson Reep, The Mitrega Brothers and Shotgun Willy performed and brought in 501 people.
The foundation is in talks for other local fundraising concerts and events, including another possible fall concert featuring both local and Pittsburgh- and Cleveland-based indie-rock bands, as well as a local film premiere for Warren native actor/filmmaker Ryan Bottiglieri’s feature film and directorial debut “Trim.”
The film stars Academy Award nominee Bruce Dern.
