Harding trumpeters to perform Memorial Day taps in D.C.

Trumpet players for the Warren G. Harding High School Marching Band will perform taps during the National Moment of Remembrance in the National Memorial Day Parade on Monday in Washington, D.C.

Taps will be played at about 3 p.m. along Constitution Avenue.

Each Harding trumpeter will start playing taps on cue at different times, to create an echo effect.

Harding’s trumpeters will be the only musicians performing during that salute to the military.

The parade and Moment of Remembrance will be featured extensively on the Fox News Channel and will be shown live in its entirety on The Military Channel.
