East Palestine All-Alumni Weekend, consisting of an alumni reunion and roast, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at Heid Hall, 20 N. James St., East Palestine. The 116th Haviland Family Reunion will be July 9 at Waterford North Conservation Area in Waterford, Ontario. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., and there will be a potluck buffet at noon in the pavilion. The afternoon will include socializing and reminiscing, games for all ages, genealogy and face painting. The “Canadian Haviland Family Genealogy” will be available for viewing. Newton Falls High School Class of 1961 is celebrating its 50th class reunion with a three-day event June 17, 18 and 19. Some classmates couldn’t be located.
