Canfield 7, Howland 3

Tim Cheslik and Josh Midgley doubled as Canfield won the All American Red Tier championship Saturday at Eastwood Field. Three Canfield pitchers combined to hold the Tigers to five hits. With the score tied 3-3 after six innings, the Cardinals (16-8, 6-1) scored four runs in the top of the seventh.

Columbiana 7, Mooney 2

COLUMBIANA

Andrew Burdick had three hits, including a double, and three RBIs for Columbiana, which scored four runs in the second inning to take control. Hank Schlueter (7-3) and Burdick combined to strike out nine for the Clippers (20-8), while Josh Saverko had two hits and Kyle Shaffer homered. For Mooney (13-7), A.J. Thomas had two hits including a double and Boo Vasquez doubled.
