Ethnic groups invited to Festival of Nations

YOUNGSTOWN

The Festival of Nations, part of the Summer Festival of the Arts, is seeking ethnic groups to participate in the festival July 9 and 10 on the campus of Youngstown State University.

The festival will highlight the Valley’s diverse ethnic populations through a presentation of food, displays, music or dance.

One representative group from each culture will be accepted for the event and will receive a tent, tables and chairs, media promotion, inclusion in the health department license application and free parking for volunteers.

Each group will pay a nominal fee based on food and memorabilia sales.

Performing groups will be paid $100 for each performance.
