MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, May 25: Fish, sweet potatoes, broccoli, mandarin orange, bread, and milk.

Thursday, May 26: Barbecue chicken, carrots, pears, bread, brownie, and milk.

Friday, May 27: Lasagna with sauce, applesauce, spinach, squash, banana muffin, grape juice, and milk.

Saturday, May 28: Chicken breast on a bun, tossed salad, black beans and corn, bananas, cookies, and milk.

Monday, May 30: Closed Memorial Day.

Tuesday, May 31: Beef patty, baked potatoes, peas, pineapple, bread, orange gelatin, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, May 25: Super dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked bean quintet, diced carrots, cupcake or angel food cake, apple juice, and milk.

Thursday, May 26: Beef and pepper patty, mashed potatoes and gravy, Harvard beets, wheat bread with margarine, diced peaches, and milk.

Friday, May 27: Fish square with tartar sauce, macaroni and cheese, brussels sprouts, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits, grape juice, and milk.

Monday, May 30: Closed for Memorial Day.

Tuesday, May 31: Southwest meatloaf, cheesy mashed potatoes, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, applesauce, and milk.
