SENIOR CITIZENS


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside. Reports will be given by Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Schick. There will be a Ticket Auction, and hostesses for lunch are Jeannette Armeni and Jenny Armeni. The group is seeking Parker-Hannifin retirees to attend the monthly meetings. Retirees from all areas of the plant are welcome. Atty. Rusu from Lane & Rusu Attorneys at Law will present a seminar to update and inform members on such matters as Medicare, estate planning, trusts, wills, etc. Report illnesses to Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship and games. Take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Wanda Conner will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 Retirees will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Local 717 Union Hall, Warren Commerce Park, 2950 Sferra Ave. Those attending are asked to take a labeled covered dish and table service. Staff Sgt. Jason Corrodi of Vienna Air Reserve Station will present a Memorial Day program.

Public Employees Retirees Inc., Mahoning Chapter 18, will meet at noon Tuesday at the Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Austintown. The guest speaker will be Shane Olson, a representative of Humana Medicare Health Insurance. A representative for the Centers for Hearing Care will be available for those who want to have their hearing tested. The menu is a buffet that consists of baked chicken, red-skin potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls and butter, coffee or tea, and carrot cake. Also featured will be a money raffle. The cost is $9 for members, associate members and guests, payable at the door. Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Ann Smith will preside, and Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay will give reports. Lunch will be served by Irene Brown, June Kausitis and Mary Ann Cerinelli.
