The Ohio Trucking Association has named Elwood City, Pa.-native Teddy Aiken as one of the 12 best truck drivers in Ohio. Aiken, 61, a driver for R&J/John Brown Trucking in Boardman, has driven for 41 years and covered more than 4 million miles without an accident or moving violation.
Terry J. Reardon of Boardman was recently honored at the 131st annual convention of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association in Columbus. Reardon had served the past year as the president of the association. Before his election as president, Reardon served the association on numerous committees and as a regional director, its secretary, treasurer and president-elect.
Paul Coblentz has been honored with the 2010-2011 Outstanding Civil Engineer of Central Ohio Award by the Central Ohio Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He serves as a project manager and senior structural engineer in Gannett Fleming’s Columbus office. Coblentz has more than 37 years of experience, and has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Geneva College and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
