Dana Marie Di Carlo and Robert Anthony Thornton, both of Montgomery, Ala., were married at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Jasmine Hill Gardens and honored during a reception that followed in the Olympian Center at Jasmine Hill.

Parents of the bride are David and Debbie Di Carlo of Hope Hull, Ala., formerly of Boardman, and the groom is a son of Willie Thornton of Tallassee, Ala., and the late Betty Thornton.

After a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, the couple live in Montgomery.

Pearls embellished the bride’s white gown.

Black gowns were worn by Talicia VanHooser, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Dorcas Torres and Christie Smith.

Brad Smith performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Robert Crowell and Douglas Di Carlo, a brother of the bride.

The bride, who was born and raised in Canfield, graduated from the University of Miami in Florida with a degree in architecture. She is employed in customer service by Giles Food Service Equipment in Montgomery.

The groom, a computer programmer with General Dynamics in Montgomery, graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery.
