The 12U team, which consists of players from Ohio and Pennsylvania, holds a 12-0 record after taking first place in its first two tournaments of the season. In the Triple Crown Sports Great Lakes Opener in Youngstown, the Glaciers led the team to five wins and no losses to win the championship against the WP Wolfpack with a score of 17-0.

The Glaciers went on to win the second tournament, Nations State Qualifier Batter Up Classic in Richmond Heights, Ohio, with four wins and no losses to win the championship game against the Wadsworth Grizzlies 10-1.

These tournament wins have qualified the Glaciers for the Triple Crown Nationals and Nations State Tournament. They will be attending Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York in July to compete against teams from across the United States.

Canfield residents Joe DeLucia, Ethan Kalina, Chris Lewis, Joey Machuga, Zach Tinkey and Anthony Vross contributed to the team’s success.
