A healing liturgy will take place May 29 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Lipkey Road, with the Rev. Amedeo G. Guida of St. Cecelia Church in Solvay, N.Y. Father Guida is the liaison to the Charismatic Renewal in the Diocese of Syracuse and has been involved with healing ministry for more than 20 years. The schedule is as follows: confessions at noon, liturgy at 1 p.m., adoration and spiritual talk at 2 and Divine Mercy chaplet at 3, followed by anointing of the sick. Refreshments will follow in the hall.

A celebration meeting is planned at 7 p.m. Monday at Crossroad Ministries, 1909 N. Ellsworth Ave., for the Men’s Rally in the Valley, which took place earlier this month.
100th anniversary

Bishop George V. Murry will celebrate the 100th anniversary of St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., at 10 a.m. Sunday. For patrons attending a centennial concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, the church doors will open at 5:30. The Youngstown Symphony will present the sold-out concert.

The 16th pastoral anniversary of Pastor Michael H. Harrison of Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., will be celebrated with an appreciation night at 6 p.m. today, with the UBC Fellowship Mass Choir and Friends in concert, under the direction of elder Darren Thomas. A service is planned at 10:45 a.m. Sunday with Pastor Kenneth Paramore of Christ Centered Church as guest preacher.

The Dixie Melody Boys will be in concert at 6 p.m. May 29 at North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive. A free-will offering will be taken. The group has sung gospel music for more than 50 years and will be inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame.

Tabernacle Baptist Church, 707 Arlington St., will observe its annual Women’s Day at 11 a.m. Sunday with guest speaker Airica Colley of Sterling Heights, Mich. The theme is “O Woman, Great is Thy Faith” from Matthew 15:28.

83rd anniversary

Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., will mark its 83rd anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. George Wilkins, pastor of Mount Sinai Baptist Church, as guest speaker. The theme is “We’ve Come This Far by Faith.”

St. Dominic Church and Emmaus Roundtable is offering a series of 24 monthly apologetic workshops. Sessions are free and will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with questions and answers after at the church at 77 E. Lucius Ave. Participants should use the Auburndale Avenue parking lot and take a Bible.
