Farmers declares dividend of 3 cents per share

CANFIELD
Farmers National Banc Corp. declared a cash dividend of 3 cents per share on its common stock for 2011’s second quarter.
The dividend will have a record date of June 17 and is payable to shareholders June 30.
“We’re one of the very, very few community banks that pay a dividend,” said Amber Wallace, senior vice president of marketing. “Even through the financial crisis, we’ve still had a positive earning every single quarter.”
Farmers is the holding company for Farmers National Bank and Farmers Trust Company with more than $1 billion in assets, 17 banking locations in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties and two trust offices.
