ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet for a catered dinner at 6 p.m. June 6 at St. Matthias Church Hall, corner of Shady Run and Cornell Avenue, Youngstown. Dr. Warren Young, Youngstown State University professor emeritus of astronomy and physics, will speak, and Marcellene Hawk will present “Vamp Music of the 1920s.” The cost is $15 for paid-up members and $20 for nonmembers. SUPPORT GROUPS

F.O.C.U.S., Mahoning County Breast Cancer Support Group, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Mended Hearts, a support group for heart survivors and their families, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Azalea room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
