Jimmy Quinlan drove in three runs while Jeremy Quinlan and Eric Martin two apiece as the Warriors won the twice-suspended game with two runs in the sixth inning at Cene Park. One of Jeremy Quinlan’s hits was a double. For the Vikings, Bobby Klein hit two doubles and drove in three runs.

In a game that resumed Wednesday with the score tied, 1-1, Darrell Brammer scored on a wild pitch from third base with the go-ahead run in the third inning. Brammer singled home Darren Hamilton with the insurance run in the fourth for Lakeview (11-9) in a sectional game. Senior Josh Pryor had 15 strikeouts and three walks in a four-hitter. The game was originally halted last Thursday. Brammer scored on the wild pitch with one out. The senior singled and moved to scoring position on junior A.J. Hrusovsky’s single. In the fourth, senior Darren Hamilton singled, then stole second and went to third on a passed ball before Brammer singled to score Hamilton with the game’s last run. Brammer finished with three singles and an RBI for the Bulldogs, who advance to play Liberty. A.J. Kovach, Kyle Kiser, Drew Skleres and Tim Cross had the only hits for Pymatuning Valley (8-10). Reliever Brandon Easton took the loss after Hunter Rhoades pitched the game’s first 21/3 innings last week.

The top-seeded Tigers (14-6) held a commanding 14-1 lead over the Clippers (19-7) when the district final was halted in the top of the third inning at Cene Park. The game will resume today at 4:30 p.m. with the winner earning a spot in next week’s Euclid regional tournament at the Pipeyard in Lorain.
