Garden club plans plant sale at MASCO

YOUNGSTOWN

The Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown will sponsor a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the MASCO greenhouse, South Avenue and Bev Road.

Flats and hanging baskets will be for sale. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the club’s horticulture scholarship fund and pay for local community activities.

Girls Night Out dates corrected

Mental Health board to host breakfast

In conjunction with National Mental Health Awareness Month, Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board will sponsor a breakfast meeting from 8 to 9 a.m. Friday in the first floor conference room at 4076 Youngstown Road SE.

For 43 years the board has ensured that alcohol, drug and mental health services have been available in the county. It uses county, state and federal funds to provide hope and care for as many people as possible.

Sale at Life Center

A trash and treasure sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the EB Family Life Center, 7 S. Garland Ave. Vendors can rent a table for $10 and any additional will be $5.

Barbecue sandwiches will be sold and a car wash will be offered for $5.
