Police: Student, 15, set fire at Pa. school

YORK, Pa. (AP) — Police say a 15-year-old student set three small fires at a central Pennsylvania school that prompted students to be sent home early.

York Area Regional Police say the student used a flammable liquid to set the fires in the cabinetmaking shop at the York County School of Technology on Monday morning. No injuries were reported.

Minor damage from the fire, smoke and water was reported but there was no structural damage to the building after the fire was reported around 10 a.m.

Students were dismissed at noon.
