Walk-It Challenge to be 5K event

CANFIELD

Youngstown Road Runners will present the third annual Weight Watchers Walk-It Challenge on May 22.

The 5K event will begin at 10 a.m. at 7574 Columbiana Canfield Road.

As part of an effort to lose weight and gain healthier habits the group is encouraging residents to participate in the walk.

Dine for a cause: to help a child

Nicolinni’s Ristorante II, 1247 Boardman-Poland Road, will host a benefit “Dine for a Cause” event from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 23.

A portion of the proceeds of every meal that day will go to 12-year-old Skyler Kirchner, who has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
