55 Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Members will dine out after the meeting and card games.
Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. All members and spouses are welcome.
Coitsville Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Coitsville Town Hall. A casserole luncheon will be served. Members are to take their place settings. Devotions will be given by Dorothy Churilla. Members who have not paid their 2011 dues may pay them at the meeting. May anniversaries and birthdays will be acknowledged. Card bingo will be played with caller Stever Hrycik. Residents and nonresidents are welcome to join.
Croatian Pensioners of Mahoning Valley will celebrate their 41st Founders Day Thursday at Lodge 66 Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road. There will be a Mass at 11 a.m. followed by a buffet dinner. The cost is $10 and checks should be payable to Croatian Pensioners. Reservations are to be made by Monday with Millie Terihay at 330-757-2024. Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday for a Mother’s Day luncheon in the Holy Family Center, Faith Hall (use the center’s side entrance). Luncheon will be served at noon, and only paid members will be admitted. To report illnesses or deaths call Nancy Nappy at 330-757-2823.
Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. May 22 in Founders Hall with Chris Bartholomy, Mary Lowery, Muriel Galias and Margaret Schialdone serving as hostesses. Attendance fee is $2, and lunch, birthdays, raffles, cards and bingo are planned. New members are welcome.
Local 1199 will meet at 10 am. Tuesday at the union hall on Belmont Avenue. Members are reminded to take items for a basket auction. New and former members are invited.
Liberty 55 Plus Club will have an annual Mother’s Day meeting and catered luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church on Cardinal Drive, Liberty. Kay Herberger will preside and hostesses will be Mary Cleary and Marlene Connors. There will be a 50-50 drawing and birthdays will be observed.
Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Ted Conner will give the devotions. This is the day for the club’s Spring Fling, and members will dine at the Golden Rye Restaurant in New Middletown for the noon meal. Transportation will be provided. S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10 of Local 2243, U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel, will have a regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Local 1375 union hall, 684 N. Park Ave., Warren. The guest speaker will be Judge Thomas Swift, Trumbull County Probate Court.
St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parish center for their monthly luncheon. President Ruth Infante will preside, and hostesses are Karen Gaca, Marge Schialdone, Clara Sefner and June Kausits. Carol McClain and Mary Jo Theis will give reports. There will be a 50-50 raffle and a drawing for a free luncheon. Cards and bingo will be played.
Youngstown Chapter 4611, AARP, will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown, An executive board meeting at 11 a.m. will precede the general meeting at noon. Mary S. Hill, vice president of the Eastern Ohio United Methodist Women’s Conference, will be the speaker for a Memorial Day program. A 50-50 drawing is planned, and refreshments will be served.
