Local authors to sign copies of their books

On June 4, Stephanie White of Berlin Center will be at the Family Christian Bookstore in front of the Southern Park Mall, where she will sign copies of her books from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Her first book, “Heaven on Earth,” provides a Biblical perspective for living life and loving it. It encourages the reader to enjoy all God has planned.
Her second book, “Faith is Worth Fighting For,” is a study of faith, how we obtain it and how it works, and encourages the reader to focus on what God has promised.
Karen Green of Youngstown, author of “Thee Welcome Wagon,” a compilation of welcome speeches for all ages, will sign copies of her book from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25 at Poland Library, 311 S. Main St.
Father, son release book on safety

Nick and Patrick Pacalo of Boardman recently released their book, “The Industrial Accident Investigation Techniques Manual.”
The handy 62-page book is intended to be used in industry or academia in the conduct of investigations or in teaching safety science. It is systematic in its approach to conducting an investigation, including generic techniques and procedures that will be beneficial regardless of the type of accident.
The authors have been involved in the study and teaching of safety for many years.
