Karyssa Opencar to be bride of Nicholas Cortez

Announced by Nicholas and Stella Opencar of Campbell is the engagement of their daughter, Karyssa Marie Opencar, and Nicholas Orlando Cortez, son of Lionel and Katherine Cortez, also of Campbell.

The bride-elect is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at Youngstown State University.

Her fianc is serving as a cavalry scout with the U.S. Army.

The couple will be married in a 3 p.m. ceremony July 3 at St. Lucy Roman Catholic Church. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for a reception that evening at St. Lucy Church Hall.
