The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s mobile-outreach center will visit the Youngstown unit of the NAACP on Friday to accept complaints of employment discrimination based on race, religion, sex, national origin, age (40 and older), disability or retaliation. The EEOC considers retaliation the firing of a worker who complained about job discrimination, gave evidence in a job discrimination matter or filed a charge of job discrimination with the commission. Ox roast planned

NEW CASTLE, Pa.

North Beaver Township Volunteer Fire Department, 969 Mount Jackson Road, is having an ox-roast dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the fire hall. Cost is $10 for adults and $6.50 for children. Takeouts will be available.

Trumbull County Children Services’ annual Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner is Monday at 6 p.m. at Ciminero’s Banquet Center, 123 N. Main St., Niles. Thirteen foster families will be honored for five to 15 years of service, and all 100 foster families will be acknowledged for their dedication to children and families.
