Gardens will become shopper’s paradise

Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks will be transformed into a shopper’s paradise for a Girls’ Night Out at the Gardens to be sponsored by the Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens on May 24 and 25.

Festivities for the shop-till-you drop event will begin at 5:30 p.m. each day and will feature special items exclusively available at the Shop in the Gardens.

Participants will have an opportunity to sample and purchase goodies from many vendors and to taste a beverage special.

There will also be an opportunity to relax in the Rossi Auditorium, where food will be prepared by Cater 2 U.

Also featured in the auditorium will be plants by Lutz Greenhouse and a vintage fashion show. A raffle is also planned.

Members of the Friends will receive a 20 percent discount on items purchased at the Shop in the Gardens, and other guests will receive a 10 percent discount. Membership applications will be available both evenings.

Reservations for the Girls’ Night Out events are required and space is limited. Tickets are $25 each, and they can be purchased by calling 330-740-7116.
