Editor’s note

The Seattle Mariners’ game in Cleveland against the Indians was postponed by heavy rain that at one point flooded the outfield at Progressive Field on Saturday. No makeup date was announced and a doubleheader may not be needed. The Mariners will return to Cleveland for a three-game series, Aug. 22-24. Both clubs have an open date on Aug. 25.
