Neighbors | Submitted.Laurie and Mike Fox’s two grandsons, Benjamin and Cameron, enjoyed their first visit with the Easter Bunny during the National Slovak Society Assembly 731’s Easter egg hunt April 23. One-month-old Benjamin is the son of Becky and Bill Gaither and four-month-old Cameron is the son of Beth and Matt Mason.

Youth members of the National Slovak Society Assembly 731 dodged mud and puddles, after days of rain, looking for treasures during the society’s Easter egg hunt April 23 in Poland Township Park.

After the hunt, the Easter bunny arrived with bagged lunches, coloring books, Frisbees and bracelets for the children.

Over the past couple of years, the Slovak Society volunteered time helping to clean and mulch the park and felt it was a fitting place to hold its event. The park features mulched walking trails, soccer fields, playground, pavilion and picnic tables.
