Career center students meet with legislators

A group of students from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, along with Vice Principal Ralph Sandy, attended the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education Legislative Luncheon to show their support for Career Technical Education.
Students were able to visit the Statehouse and attend a luncheon with Ohio Legislators where they interacted and discussed the role of career-technical education and its importance to Ohio’s future economic development and the legislative process.
The MCCTC students met with State Representatives Bob Hagan and Ronald Gerberry and shared their experiences in Career Technical Education.
Students who attended the luncheon were Patrick Benjamin of West Branch, Jamal Davis of Boardman, Luke Evert of West Branch, Rikki Farina of Austintown, Jessica Magliocca of Springfield and Brittany Marriotti of Lowellville.
