Because they care, students and staff at St. Patrick School in Hubbard recently honored their school nurse, Joan Humphrey, who is always there with a bandage, a “magic” mint that cures all ailments, and a friendly ear to listen to their troubles. Joining the registered nurse after she was gifted with a bag filled with shower gels, lotions and scented candles to help her relax at the end of a busy day are, from left, Nicolette Leonard, Rachell Lucerelli and Rocco Mariano.
