Federal grand jury indicts Youngstown man on drug, weapons charges
CLEVELAND — A federal grand jury here returned a two-count indictment charging Deondray Robinson, 23, of Youngstown, with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possessing with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The indictment charges that on or about April 7, Robinson possessed an automatic pistol, and ammunition, after he had been previously convicted of aggravated robbery and felonious assault in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. It also charges that on or about that same date, Robinson possessed with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives- Youngstown Field Office and the Youngstown Police Department. The matter is being prosecuted by Assistant US Attorney David M. Toepfer.
