Drilling expert to speak Thursday

Dr. John Stolz, professor of biology and director of the Center for Environmental Research and Education at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, will speak on drilling at 7 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Township Administration Building, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.

Stolz has investigated shale gas extraction, visiting completed well sites, wastewater treatment plants taking flow-back water and a liquids-separation facility.
