Youngstown chosen to host fall international economics conference
YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown has been selected to host an international economic conference this fall.
The nonprofit East-West Center, which Congress established in 1960 to promote ties between the U.S. and Asia-Pacific regions, chose Youngstown as the site of one of three pre-summit conferences leading up to November’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
The conference will take place at Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration on Sept. 27-29.
