Motorist attacked at an Ohio McDonald's restaurant

NORWOOD, Ohio (AP) — Police in Ohio say a man jumped into a woman’s car and attacked her while she was waiting at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

The woman told police in the Cincinnati suburb of Norwood that the man tried to take control of her vehicle late Tuesday evening and punched her repeatedly on the head and face, knocking off her glasses.

The Cincinnati Enquirer cites police reports as saying the suspect took her cell phone and ordered her to drive him down the street. But police say when another car pulled into the drive-thru, the man ran away on foot.

Police dogs were used to catch the suspect. Thirty-eight-year-old Timothy Glanton, who told police he was homeless, was arrested on charges including robbery.
