BOARDMAN
Phil DiIanni had a double, a single and three RBIs, Dan Popio had a single, a double and two RBIs and Carmen Tarantino added two singles, a double and an RBI for Boardman (13-6), which will play a district final on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Cene Park. Mark Leone singled and drove in two and Joe Markovitch doubled and drove in a run. Jared Paige led Harding (3-14) with two hits and scored three runs.
Division II
Hubbard 7, Poland 3
HUBBARD
Kory Hopkinson had three hits, a run and a RBI and Mike Lopuchovsky had three hits and scored twice to lead Hubbard (6-9), which advanced to play at Canfield today at 4:30 p.m. in a sectional final. That game is a rematch of last year’s district final, which the Cardinals won 11-4 to snap the Eagles’ 17-game winning streak. Tyler Kachelries (2-1) pitched 52⁄3 innings to get the win and Ryan Smith got the final four outs unblemished for Hubbard, which benefited from three crucial Poland double plays. For Poland, Clay Cooper had two hits and Colin Reardon homered.
West Branch 1, Crestwood 0
BELOIT
Jake Mull threw a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and no walks and Matt Unkefer hit a two-out double to scored Brendan Wells in the bottom of the fifth to lead West Branch (12-13), which plays at Niles today. Wells had two hits. For Crestwood (12-9), David Brock threw a five-hitter with 10 strikeouts and three walks and Frank Butvin had two hits.
Southeast 3, Salem 1
RAVENNA
Garrett Barerra (1-2) and Mark Zaveson combined on a three-hitter for Southeast (6-11), which scored three runs in the third. Barrera doubled and singled and Kyle White had two singles for the Pirates, who play at Ravenna today. Kenny Saltsman doubled for Salem (4-14).

Crestview 8, Mineral Ridge 2
MINERAL RIDGE
Brandon Brooks had three hits, two RBIs and scored a run and Logan Schaefer, Zack Thompson and Sam Weingart each added two hits for the Rebels (13-6, 8-4 ITCL Tier One). Dan Ferguson homered and Brandon Bukofchan had two hits for Ridge.

Western Reserve 8
McDONALD
Jeff Walp had three hits, including two doubles, three runs and an RBI and Mike Helco had three hits and scored a run to lead McDonald (6-9, 6-5 ITCL Tier Two), which took a 13-4 lead after six innings. Cole Smith had two hits, including a homer, and two RBIs for Reserve, while Tommy Marlowe had two hits and two RBIs.
