Youngstown State junior Jordan Ingalls has been named to the All-Horizon League first team and senior Kim Klonowski was named to the second team Tuesday.

The all-star teams were selected in voting by league coaches.

Ingalls is the first YSU player to earn first team honors since McKenzie Bedra in 2008, and Klonowski is the first multiyear honoree since Bedra was a back-to-back first-team choice in 2007-08.

Klonowski was also named All-Horizon League second team in 2009.

This season, Ingalls led the team and the league with a .385 batting average and was tied for second in the league with 40 RBIs.

Ingalls also ranked second in the league with four triples, fifth with 55 hits and tied for fifth with 87 total bases.

Ingalls was also the first YSU player to win consecutive league player of the week awards when she was named on March 14 and 21.

Klonowski, who is the fifth YSU player to earn All-Horizon League honors in multiple years, led the Penguins with a .400 batting average against league opponents.

Overall, Klonowski batted .319 with nine doubles, two home runs and 18 RBIs.

Over the last 19 games she appeared, Klonowski batted .451 (23-for-51) with five doubles, two home runs, eight runs batted in and scored five times.
