The Rotary Club of Canfield and Hospice of the Valley have teamed up to become the driving force behind a car raffle that will raise funds to support the club’s community service programs in the Valley and at Hospice.

The raffle was announced recently by representatives of the Rotary Club, Hospice, Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown and General Motors in Lordstown.

The winner of the raffle will receive a fully loaded 2011 Chevy Cruze LTZ valued at $27,000.

The car was built in Lordstown and is being displayed in the Austintown showroom of Greenwood Chevrolet. It will be displayed from 6 to 11 p.m. July 2 at Canfield Fairgrounds.

The drawing for the Cruze will take place on Labor Day during the Canfield Fair. The winner need not be present but will be notified and responsible for sales tax, title and transfer fees.

Tickets for the drawing are $20 and can be purchased from Hospice or any member of the Rotary Club and will be available at community events throughout the area. They also can be requested by visiting the club’s website at www.canfieldrotary.org and clicking on Win a Brand New Chevy Cruze and then click on request tickets.
