CANFIELD
May 7
Child safety seat: Police cited Amanda Herbert, 26,of 1644 Denison Ave., Warren for not having a child safety seat for a child less than 40 pounds along with a traffic violation at East Main Street and the ramp at state Route 11.

May 2
Criminal damaging: A car windshield was broken by a brick at a home in the 100 block of Westminster Drive.
Telephone harassment: Hang-up calls were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Winter Park Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: A man is accused of harassment at a home in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Identity theft: A loan was taken out in the victim’s name at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.
Theft: Two males stole a security system camera at Harbor Freight, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An iPhone was stolen at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Identity fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Robert Spane II, 38, of 1645 Larchmont, NE., Warren, was arrested for stealing steel welding wire valued at between $400 and $500 at Kunkel Industries, 3710 Henricks Road.
Criminal damaging: A window was broken at Churchiglia’s, 5450 Mahoning Ave.
May 3
Warrant: Nicholas Bortmas, 19, of 3657 of Lynhaven Road was arrested on a warrant for telephone harassment.
Bench warrant: Kelly Cavucci, 30, of 4890 Glenwood Ave., Apt.6, Boardman was arrested on a bench warrant for probation violation.
Recovered property: Police chased a van with a male driver who threw out 16 guitars, cases and power equipment and then had an auto accident at County Line Road and North Four Mile Run Road in the Weathersfield Township police district.
Theft: A bank card was stolen at Pilot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Theft: A roll of electric wire was stolen at Handyman Hardware, 4351 Kirk Road.
Breaking and entering: A laptop computer was stolen from Alexander’s Diagnostics,4443 New Road.
Burglary: Tools, musical equipment and other items were stolen from a home in the 900 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Identity fraud: A loan was taken out with the victim’s information at a home in the 5000 block of Country Fair Drive.
Obstructing official business: Police charged Jeffrey Kim, 54, of 4786 E. Webb Road, with the crime at a home in the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.
Burglary: A television was taken from in the 4000 block of New Road.
Domestic violence: Police charged Timothy Grate, 34, of 4488 Viall Road, with the crime at his home.
Assault: A male is a suspect in an assault at Interstate 80 and state Route 46.
May 4
Identity theft: A man reported he discovered someone had used his Social Security number.
Menacing: A woman reported being menaced at a home in the 4000 block of Stark Drive.
Warrant: David Hughes, 68, of 7560 Buchanan Drive was arrested on warrants for aggravated menacing and felonious assault.
Fraud: $759.64 was fraudulently obtained at a home in the 1000 block of Raspberry Lane.
Domestic violence: David Beatty, 66, of 5560 Kirk Road was arrested for domestic violence.
May 5
Warrant: Charles Edelman, 33, of 202 Cassandra Drive, Niles, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay a $305 fine.
Counterfeit currency: Three $20 bills were passed at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road.
Theft: A cell phone was taken from Payless Shoes, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Joseph Holmes, 38, of 229 E. Philadelphia Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for theft and Sharon Ritter, 36, of 1061 Brockway Ave., Youngstown, was charged with aiding and abetting for a theft at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave. Stolen was a DVD player valued at $129.99.
Theft: Someone pumped $47.92 worth of gas and drove off without paying at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Fraud: A credit card was used fraudulently at a home in the 100 block of North Turner Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Alex Cherney, 30, of 7025 Berry Blossom Drive, Canfield, on a warrant for failure to comply at South Raccoon Road and Fitzgerald Avenue.
Theft: $250 was reported stolen from a home in the 1000 block of S. Meridian Road.
May 6
Theft: Sterling silverware was stolen from a home on South Meridian Road.
Trespassing: Trees were cut down without permission at a vacant house in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Jewelry was reported stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Pimlico Drive.
Drug offense: Howard Beniston, 36, of 543 Pierce Drive, Youngstown, was issue a summons for drug abuse of marijuana at South Meridian Road and Northwood Drive.
Theft: An employee was short-changed for $200 at Harbor Freight, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Identity theft: An account was opened in a woman’s name at a home in the 1000 block of Moorefield Avenue.
Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry at a home where a television was taken in the 900 block of Compass West.
Drug offense: Carlos Herring, 23, of 635 Liberty St., Youngstown, was arrested for possession of crack cocaine on Route 11 and I-80.
May 7
Drug offense: Emanuel Miklos, 23, of 2169 Cranbrook Court, Youngstown, was charged with possession of cocaine, drug abuse, improper handling of a firearm and permitting drug abuse at the Go Go Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.
Animal complaint: Scott Rhoades, 39, was issued a summons for a barking dog at his home at 3651 Wendover Ave.
Drug offense: Richard Stubbs, 20, of 3046 Hadley Ave., was issued a summons for possession of dangerous drugs at South Meridian Road and Baxter Drive.
Criminal damaging: Vinyl siding was damaged with a pellet gun at a home in the 1000 block of Maple Leaf Drive.
Theft: Charges are pending against two juveniles who were involved in a theft at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
May 8
Criminal damaging: A rock was thrown through a car window at a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.
Theft: A total of $53.15 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1142 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Warrant: Brian Romine,31, of 573 Miller St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for telecommunications harassment at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.
