Ohio school bus crash injures adult aide
PATASKALA, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a school bus crash in central Ohio has left at least one person injured.
A dispatcher says the crash happened around 7 a.m. today along U.S. Route 40 in Pataskala, about 18 miles east of downtown Columbus.
Authorities at the scene told WBNS-TV a pickup truck hit the bus as it was pulling out of a driveway.
The dispatcher says a trooper reported two students and two staff members were on the Southwest Licking school district bus at the time. No students were hurt.
The TV station reports an adult aide was taken to a hospital with an injury that was not life-threatening.
School district officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
