GE Quarter Century Club members will have their 66th annual spring meeting May 15 at the Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. The social hour will begin at 3:30 p.m., and a sitdown dinner will follow at 4:30. Cost is $18 each. Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Scenna’s Family Restaurant, 1901 N. State St., Girard.

Golden Pillars will meet Tuesday. After a service at 11 a.m., a renewal meeting will take place in the Assumption Social Hall, where Mary Novak will preside. Mother’s Day will be celebrated, and Eleanor Hnat will be honored as Mother of the Year. Cards and bingo will be played. Members are asked to take their own place settings.

Happy Wanderers are reminded to take a lunch to the meeting May 20. Those whose last names begin with the letters M-Z are asked to take a cake. Music will be by Delbert Coxson and his pickup band. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Janet Tentinger will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10 (Mahoning and Columbiana Counties), will have a picnic at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Elton Beard Family Cabin in Boardman Park (next to the tennis courts and behind Kids Town). Members are asked to take a casserole; no desserts are needed. All retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund living in Mahoning and Columbiana counties, their spouses and survivors, are welcome.
