Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles was the setting Aug. 14 for the 2:30 p.m. ceremony at which Jaclyn Gargano and Jonathan Sliwinski were united in marriage by the Rev. Larry Frient.

The daughter of John and Pamela Gargano and son of John Jr. and Mary Sliwinski, all of Niles, were honored during a reception at Leo’s Ristorant before leaving on a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando. They live in Niles.

Honor attendants were Marissa and Jonnah Gargano, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Joseph and Kelli Evans, and junior bridesmaid was Savanna Smith, a cousin of the bride. They wore tangelo and fuchsia-colored gowns. Flower girls were Logan Lewis and Emmah Mostoller, the bride’s cousins.

The duties of best man were performed by Jared Sliwinski, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Travis Fusselman, Frank Magagnotti and Tom Beltz. Ring bearer was Madysen Mostoller, a cousin of the bride.

The bride and groom earned bachelor’s degrees in exercise science from Youngstown State University and doctorates in physical therapy from Slippery Rock University. They are physical therapists with Humility of Mary Health Partners in Youngstown.
