‘A Civil War Cup of Tea’ scheduled

CANFIELD

An afternoon tea will celebrate “A Civil War Cup of Tea,” Loghurst Farmhouse Museum’s collaboration with the Arm’s Museum’s exhibit of teacups and tea sets.

The tea is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Loghurst, 3967 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Each mother and child will receive a teacup and saucer, corsage and a special tour of the log home. Children will also receive a Civil War paper doll to color and play with.

The exhibit, “A Civil War Cup of Tea,” opens today and runs through May 25. Hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, or by appointment.
