WCMA announces 2011-12 concert series

Warren Civic Music Association’s 2011-12 concert series will include the return of The Texas Tenors on Dec. 13.

Each of the six concerts in the series begins at 7:30 p.m. at W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW. Season tickets are $70 ($27 for youth) until May 31; then $80 ($32 for youth).

Single-show tickets, when available, are $35. Call 330-399-4885 for ticket information.

Here is the schedule:

Sept. 14, The Phantom’s Leading Ladies: Three ladies that have collectively starred in more than 4,000 performances of “Phantom of the Opera” as Christine.

Oct. 11, The Diamonds: vocal harmony group famous for the song “Little Darlin’.”

Nov. 17, Double Grande: Deborah Johnson and Wayland Pickard share their vocal, piano and impression talent.

Dec. 13, The Texas Tenors: Back by popular demand, this trio brings cowboy charm to its Christmas show.

March 12, Rhythm of the Dance: Blending traditional and modern Irish step-dancing and music.

April 18, The Duttons: Family act from Branson, Mo.
