Sorority to aid tornado victims

YOUNGSTOWN

Members of Youngstown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Sorority will be collecting items today to send to victims of the devastating tornadoes that hit the Southern states.

Donations of such things as gently used or new clothing, toiletries, shoes, combs, brushes, eyeglasses, toys, books for children and items for infants are appreciated.

The donations may be dropped off between 9 a.m. and noon today at the turnaround on Elm Street at Kilcawley Center on the campus of Youngstown State University.

The chapter’s mentoring program for young women is assisting chapter members with the donation collection.
