STRUTHERS
Josh Saverko hit a two-out, two-run single in the top of the seventh to put the game away. Hank Schlueter (4-4) and Saverko combined to strike out eight for the Clippers (15-7). Schlueter had three hits and two RBIs and Andrew Burdick had three hits. For Ursuline (8-7), Anthony Rohan had two hits, including a triple, and Ryan Strollo had two hits and two RBIs.

MINERAL RIDGE
Gerrad Rohan singled in Zack Thorpe with the go-ahead run with no outs in the top of the seventh — a four-run inning for South Range (9-8, 5-5 ITCL Tier One). Thorpe had three singles, Mike Thorpe had a home run and two singles, Tom Delullo had a double and single and Rohan finished with two singles for the Raiders. For Ridge (4-8, 3-8 ITCL), Dino Digiacomo had a double and two singles, Dan Ferguson had a home run and Tom Robbins had a double and single.
Crestview 7, East Liverpool 5
EAST LIVERPOOL
Logan Schaefer and Brandon Brooks each went deep for Crestview, while Brian Beverly and Jordan Steele went yard for the home team. Devin Erick had a double for East Liverpool.
Niles 8, Warren Harding 3
NILES
Jake Foster pitched six solid innings, giving up just three hits, to lead Niles to the win. He also struck out four and walked a pair in the win. Teammates Mike Watson and Austin Lykins each doubled for the home team.
Champion 6, Newton Falls 4
NEWTON FALLS
Kris Karr struck out nine and walked one to get the win and Dakota Coulter had two hits and scored twice to lead the Golden Flashes. Matt Brazin had two doubles and drove in three for Newton Falls (8-7, 4-3 All-American Conference Blue). Tyler Kernen and Shaun Haines each added two hits.
Mathews 10, Southington 1
VIENNA
Brad Watson and Jeremy Forsythe combined on a one-hitter to lead Mathews. Nate Homan and Luke Ciprian each had three hits for the Mustangs (5-4, 4-2 Northeast Athletic Conference).

West Branch 5
BELOIT
Brendan Wells, Beau Taylor and Brennan Haynes each had two hits for the winners, and West Branch’s Miguel Flower doubled for the only extra-base hit of the Northeastern Buckeye Conference game. Both starting pitchers, Jake Mull for West Branch and Joe Costello for Canton South, allowed nine hits in the offensive showdown. South put the game away, scoring five run in the fourth inning after being down 5-1.
Crestwood 17, Southeast 11
RAVENNA
Santana Berrera homered, singled and drove in four runs and Kyle White had three hits for Southeast (4-10, 2-7 Portage Trail Conference). David Brock had four hits, including a homer, for Crestwood (8-8, 5-4).
